Berkeley Global Computing and Data Science Program Electives

This article provides the current list of approved CDSS electives for students in the Berkeley Global Computing and Data Science Program. Use it as your reference when ranking your elective preferences on the Student Profile Form. The Student Profile Form will become available after you are admitted to the program and is accessible in the application portal.

The courses on this list have been approved to count toward the CDSS elective requirement for CDS Global. Approval is not the same as availability. Whether you can actually enroll in any specific course depends on several factors:

• Prerequisites. Each course has its own prerequisites. You must be able to demonstrate that you have completed equivalent coursework.
• Semester offerings. Not every course on this list is offered every semester. The courses available to you will depend on the UC Berkeley schedule for your term.
