Please know that Berkeley Global visiting students typically self-fund their studies. International visiting students do not qualify for US Government funding through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
However, there are scholarships opportunities available for students applying to specific programs, namely the Berkeley Global Access Program and the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program.
To be considered, you must apply for the scholarship at the time of submitting your application. You can read more about the program-specific scholarship application requirements at the links provided below:
Scholarship award decisions are announced 2-4 weeks after the final application deadline for the program, so it's possible to receive an admission decision but still be awaiting a scholarship award decision. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will be notified via email and the scholarship award will be posted to your account. If you've already made a payment prior to receiving the scholarship award, please contact extension-intl@berkeley.edu for refund assistance.
If you are inquiring about scholarships or financial aid for a degree program on campus, please contact the UC Berkeley main campus.
Please note that nominated and/or sponsored students from partner universities are not eligible for these program-specific scholarships.
