There are different ways to log into our application portal depending on your current status. Please click on the link below that applies to you to see log-in instructions for your specific situation:
I'm a returning user who has already created an account.
I am a current/former student with a valid CalNet ID.
New Users
1. Click on Create an account to start a new application. You will create a profile before continuing onto the application.
2. Enter the following information to create your profile. You will use this email address to log in to the application portal. Make sure to have access to this email address.
3. An email with a Temporary PIN will be emailed to the address you entered. Enter this PIN along with your birthdate on the next screen.
4. Create a secure password for your account.
5. Once you have created your account and logged in, click on the original application link to be directed to your specific application. Alternatively, you can start your application by clicking Start New Application at the bottom of the page.
Returning Users
1. Click on Log In to continue an application
2. Enter the email address and password used to create your profile. You can reset your password here.
3. Click on the application you would like to continue. A separate window will open. Click Open Application.
If you have not started an application, click on Start New Application, select the appropriate year, then locate the application you wish to start in the drop-down list.
Creating a new account when you already have an existing account will cause delays when reviewing your application(s). Do not make a new profile if you are unable to log in as a returning applicant. Email visiting-student@berkeley.edu for additional support.
Students with a valid Calnet
1. Click on Log in via Calnet to start or continue an application. Do NOT create an account or attempt to log in above. You will be redirected to a new page to authenticate.
2. Enter your CalNet ID and password.
3. Once logged in, you are able to continue or start a new application by clicking on Start New Application.
