Congratulations on your acceptance to the Berkeley Global Access Program!
Offers of admission are generally valid for 4 weeks after you receive the offer, but no later than the final deadline.
If you do not accept your offer by the deadline stated in your offer letter, your seat may not be guaranteed past that date, depending on how many seats remain available. Please refer to your offer letter for the exact date when your offer expires.
For the Fall 2025 semester, the final deadline to accept your offer of admission is July 3.
That said, we strongly recommend that you accept your offer of admission as soon as possible, and no later than the offer acceptance deadline specified in your offer letter.
Accepting as early as possible allows you to start your student pre-arrival process and help ensure that you can attend the program on time. When you accept your offer, you will receive your student ID number and access to UC Berkeley systems, including your student email account. You will also start receiving information about your program and resources to help you prepare for your arrival.
International students will also be invited to request their Student Visa documents, which is important to start as soon as possible to ensure you can obtain your visa and arrive at Berkeley in time for your program.
Confirming your seat will also allow you to readily begin preparing for your studies abroad, such as purchasing airfare and securing accommodations, which can be competitive and require advance research and action.
