Congratulations on your acceptance to the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program!
Offers of admission into the Berkeley Haas Global Access Program (BHGAP) are typically valid for at least 4 weeks after the offer is released, but no later than the final deadline below. If you do not accept your offer by the deadline stated in your offer letter, your seat may not be guaranteed past that date, depending on how many seats remain available. Please refer to your offer letter for the exact date when your offer expires.
For the Fall 2025 semester, the final deadline to accept your offer of admission is July 3.
Although you may accept your offer any time before the deadline above, we strongly recommend confirming your seat in advance so that you can create your student account and receive your Form I-20, which is essential to applying for your F-1 Visa. It can be months before a student is able to attend an appointment for their F-1 Visa at their local embassy. In addition, sometimes students need to make multiple trips to the embassy as their Visa application may require additional documentation or corrections. This can further delay the process at a time when many other students are also trying to attain their Visa. Therefore, we strongly advise against delaying your appointment for longer than necessary and recommend that students accept their offer of admission as soon as possible.
Confirming your seat will also allow you to readily begin preparing for your studies abroad, such as purchasing airfare and securing accommodations, which can be competitive and require advance research and action.
Please contact our Office of Admissions at visiting-student@berkeley.edu to learn more and discuss any concerns you may have. We will be able to help you with your individual case.
